Stamper in Paradise Indeed!

Well a week or so ago I was ... still in Paradise, just not so close to the beach!  LOL!

Here is a card I made for my fabulous hubby who had a birthday while we were away.

I used a lot of our new product but didn't write a single thing down - bad me!  I was just trying to get it done before we left!

I see Treasured Friendship, Seaside Greetings, our new markers were used to colour the shells, and I used our new ink colours as well.  The Happy Birthday came from my stash.  I also see Lagoon Hearts washi tape, and Ruby Chevrons washi tape.  And some Sparkles bling and Silver Shimmer Trim!

Have a wonderful day and I hope you are at, or close to, a beach somewhere - there's simply no place like it!

Honeycomb Birthday Wishes

Hello!

I saw something similar on Pinterest and came up with these - they came together pretty quickly, using up scraps of paper, cut into hexagons with Artbooking (pg 66 @ 1-1/4"), arranged them, and stamped the sentiments with Card Chatter - Birthday (retired) using Black ink.  Easy peasy.

Love You XO

Hello!

Today's project is a Valentine's Day card but could also be used as an Anniversary card ... I used Artbooking (I LOVE this cart!), along with the new Cardmaking Workshop on the Go, Lollydoodle.  I also used the now retired SOTM set from January (did you get yours?) Cross-Stitch Wishes.  Inks were Cocoa and Cranberry and Desert Sand.  I also used the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Did you know that Close to My Heart now has Embossing Folders? They're a wonderful 5x7" size which will work in most embossing machines.

We also have a wonderful special this month only, which is great especially if you need to stock up on our wonderful cardstock ... when you buy two packages of selected cardstock, you'll get the embossing folder of your choice free!

Have a fabulous day!

Teddy Bear Birthday

Surfing the net the other day and came across a technique I'd forgotten about and wanted to revisit ... I love the background for this and it is so easy to do!

The teddy bear is adorable and I was glad to finally have a chance to use him!  I still can't believe that set is only $6.95!!  I popped up his hat and present with dimensional tape.
