I was very bad and did not write down what I used so I'm going by my poor memory, oh dear!

I do know the stamp set was the set from the Chantilly Workshop on the Go Cardmaking kit but am not sure on the inks - I would say Honey for sure and maybe Smoothie.  The squares were punched with a 1-1/4" punch and the paper is a paper pack I got from Michaels I think last year.

Reminder, new catalogue goes live tomorrow which means today is the last day of the month which means it is the last day to order the Whooo's Your Valentine kit and the January Stamp of the Month.

In addition to all the wonderful goodies you get with it, you get this wonderful stamp set which will be able to be used for so much more than Valentine's Day!

Happy Birthday to You!

Saw a similar card while surfing the other day and thought that would be neat to make (will link it up when I find it again!).

The base black cardstock is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.

Used up some extra stamped pieces from my cards here.  Perfect Fit - Birthday and Perfect Fit - Frames 2 (both in the new catalogue - will link them for you once they are order-able on Feb 1st).  Ink colours were HoneySky and BlackThe cupcake paper is from a pack I got from Michaels last year that I just had to have and then of course did nothing with it!

Have a great day!

13

A colleague asked me to make a card for her niece's 13th birthday - she likes to play soccer so I used an old stamp set I had that had a soccer ball in it - looking at the photos though, the ball looks like a flower!  Hmmm ... oh well!  I also used the Card Chatter - Birthday and Artiste to cut 13 out (at 1-1/2" and 1-1/4") and the 1-1/4, 1-3/4 and 2 inch circles.  The 1-3/8 circles were a punch.  The easel card base was 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 and then scored at 4-1/4 and 6-3/8.  The card front was 4-1/4" square and embossed with a folder from the wedding suite set.  I added a bit of bling onto the edge of the Hip hip Hooray banner.

Have a great day!

Another Birthday Card

This card was so CASEd from here - I just love black and white cards!  Here is my take on the card.

I used Baroque Borders (retired SOTM), Card Chatter - Birthday, Versamark, white embossing powder, white gel pen.  The inside says:  "and many, many more."

Have a great day!

Sneak Peak & Happy Birthday

Hello!

Here's another sneak peak for you using a stamp set from the new catalogue - the Chantilly Workshop on the Go Cardmaking Workshop stamp set.  The inks used were Ruby, Sunset and Lagoon.  It's a fun little card that came together quite quickly.  I'm really beginning to love the card kits CTMH produces!  This will be available Feb 1st - let me know if you'd like a catalogue and you can see what is in the full kit.

Have a great day!

Happy Birthday to You!

Here are a couple of birthday cards I was playing around with.

Both of these use Perfect Fit - Birthday and Perfect Fit - Frames 2 (both in the new catalogue - will link them for you once they are order-able).  Ink colours were Honey, Sky and Black.  I used the Artiste cartridge to cut the label (pg 64, cut at 2-1/2) and the 1-1/4 inch circle punch for the middle.  The embossing folder is a Cuttlebug folder, one of the first ones I ever got.

If you'd like to have a copy of the new catalogue, let me know!  They have some very cute and wonderful stamps and accessories in it and I look forward to using them some more!

Have a great day!

Wishing You Well

Cute little card using It's Your Day (retired), Avonlea Cardmaking Workshop (workshop kit retires at the end of this month but you can still buy the paper pack into the new catalogue which goes live on Feb 1st!) and A Tree.  Stamped using Topiary and Sweet Leaf inks.  The butterflies had some liquid adhesive put on them to bring on a shine and it pops them up a bit (I used another brand but my understanding is the Liquid Glass does the same thing).

Have a great day!

Smitten

Good Day!

Playing today with the January Stamp of the Month set - Happy Valentine's (only available this month!)and after surfing the net for some ideas on how to start using this wonderful set, came up with this.  It was inspired/CASEd by someone's wonderful creation and as soon as I find their site again, will post a link. (Update:  here is the link.)

In the meantime, here is what I did.  Using the White Daisy pigment ink, stamped the flowers on the background piece of cardstock then embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Using the Artiste cartridge (pg 33), I cut two labels, one 2-1/4 and one 2-1/2.  With one of the Diverse Backgrounds stamps, I used Black ink to stamp on the white label.  Card size is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.

Have a great day!

Quickcards - Butterfly

I love our Quick Card stamps - this is Quick Cards Butterfly - a quick and easy card to make - the longest part was cutting out the butterfly.

The Boy has a Car

Well the boy has a car ... I don't know whether to be happy for him, or even more scared for me!  Oh the perils of growing up - it's way harder on the parents!   LOL!

Anyway, pulled this card together for him - hope he likes it!

It's 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" so is a big card and I used Cricut Craft Room so am not sure what size the car was cut at.  I seem to be making not standard size cards these days - not sure what that's all about!

Have a great day!

Supplies used:

Slate ink
Cricut Father's Day cart for the car

Masking

Surfing the internet the other night and someone had done some masking and I thought, hey, I can do that!  LOL!

I cut a piece of cardstock 1-1/2 inches wide and temporarily adhered it then stamped overtop with one of the Diverse Backgrounds stamps, using Blush.  I then perked it up a bit with some pearl stick-ons and the Happy Birthday sentiment and made a simple but lovely Birthday card.

I Stamped!!!

It feels like forever since I've done any creating, though I guess in fact, it has been awhile - between the crazy season and being sick, I haven't had time or energy to do anything! Hopefully that is all done with now!

So here is my first card of the year - a card for my niece who, I can't believe it, will be 20 at the end of this week!

CTMH products I used:
stamps: Diverse Backgrounds, Cricut Artiste Collection Birthdays
inks: Outdoor Denim, Ruby, Chocolate
other:  Liquid Glass (on the flame on the candle, which was done after the photo)

Cupcake cut from Artiste, pg 69, @ 2" and 2.25"

Have a great day!
